Non-profit organizations can use a yearly advertising package at Jobs.cz, Prace.cz and Práce za rohem app for a symbolic price of 33 CZK. This way, we can help them reach and find new employees without having to put any more strain on their already tight budgets. Last year, 570 non-profits used this offer to advertise 6 398 full-time jobs and many more temporary and part-time positions. Now, non-profits can also benefit from special offers on Seduo.cz, higher tiers of Teamio, and our new services Atmoskop.cz and Arnold.

We’ve been gifting our employees, clients and partners with unconventional presents for seven years now. Our Meaningful presents are 250 CZK vouchers that can be used to support one of the five non-profits of our choosing. Every voucher recipient can read about their activities and their mission and choose to give the voucher to the one they like most. Last year, we distributed a total of 407 250 CZK among five non-profits and thus helped support service dog training, among other things.

We have been involved in a number of projects aimed at helping people with disabilities to succeed at the labour market. Together with our partner non-profit “Tichý svět” providing comprehensive support to the deaf, we have created a special website, Neslysimpracuji.cz. Every day, vacancies that are posted on our websites and apps and are suitable for the deaf are posted here, too! Special services, like sign language interpreters, are available as well.

In 2019, we carried out a detailed research focused on mapping the financial situation and how problems arising from overindebtedness of the Czech employees are dealt with. Given the scope and social impact of seizures in the Czech Republic, we offer the employers an option to work with our partner non-profit People in Need and use the services of their debt consultants directly at their workplaces.

In cooperation with the Office of Public Defender of Rights, we fought to reduce open discrimination in job adverts. Our information campaign aimed at companies ran from 2011 to 2013 and included a series of seminars for HR officers from all across the country. Together, we were able to open the debate on this sensitive topic and make significant progress, too. Before the start of the campaign, up to 15 % of adverts contained openly discriminatory criteria and wording (concerning age, for instance). Nowadays, these things have become a rarity in job advertising. Not too long ago, former prisoners were facing the next stage of their punishment as soon as they were released – no one would hire them because of their criminal record. That’s why, between 2013 and 2015, we decided to put a lot of energy into presenting companies with arguments and tools that would help them change their attitude. We started by conducting a special LMC study followed by partnership with Rubikon Centrum non-profit. Together, we held seminars for companies and mock interviews with HR officers and former inmates. Soon, half of them were able to secure a job and thus get a chance to re-join the society. Today, even those with a criminal record will find themselves welcome in many more companies than before.

In the fall of 2016, when there was talk about an upcoming closure of the OKD mine in Paskov, we offered the miners a chance to retrain and become programmers instead. We created and financed a training programme with several different levels, with the help of Czechitas and the Technical University of Ostrava. 29 miners enrolled in the first level of the courses, seven of them went on to take university entrance exams and four managed to complete the studies! Three of the former miners started working as programmers just a year after leaving the mines and are successfully working in the field to this day. The goal of the programme was to show both the people and the employers that even such a drastic career change is possible, no matter how old you are.
